Some scenes from our week in the sun, cloud….

Despite the foul weather there were moments of blue – as you can see – along with plenty of fresh fish, sardines especially, and lots of great wine and fresh, delicious Mediterranean food.

We had some great moments while Munchkin napped, just soaking up the peace and quiet with a beer; or shopping at some of the traditional, and more artisan shops – I love these seahorse cushions.

Munchkin hasn’t napped in our arms during the day for months, but I think the heat got to her! We loved our local beach bar, which played pumping party tunes and allowed us to pretend we were young for a hour or two.Old buildings in the local town made the place look like something from a medieval drama. And…more fresh fish. Can you ever have too much?!

Happy times, despite a tummy bug and some very un-holiday weather…. More to come..
